Western Grater strives to foster a culture of health and safety awareness amongst our personnel, clients and fellow contractors.  The nature of our work often requires the use of heavy equipment, explosives, heavy tooling and high-pressure lines.  As such, we consider the health and safety of all people, whether our own personnel or members of the public, as the primary focus of our operations.

We provide all necessary resources to ensure safe and efficient progress of our projects.  Ongoing safety training is considered a condition of employment at Western Grater.  Our team has taken pride in the continuous evolution and improvement of our safety program for over 30 years.

Western Grater has been in “good standing” with WorkSafeBC continuously since 1983.  We are a COR certified company, which means we are recognized by WorkSafeBC for developing and implementing health and safety systems that meet or exceed approved industry standards.
