Western Grater Contracting Ltd.

Western Grater possesses in-house equipment mobilization capabilities.  Through the utilization of our crane trucks and trailers, we are able to deliver equipment and materials to projects on-schedule without the need for coordination with shipping companies.  Loading and unloading is streamlined through the use of our trucks’ onboard cranes, which eliminates the need for additional on site equipment.  Western Grater participates in the Island Equipment Owner’s Association's annual Truck Lights Parade & Food Drive, a local charity event.

Western Grater employs a variety of air compressors to operate much of our equipment.  Our compressors have volume ratings which range from 190 CFM to 1000 CFM, giving us the versatility and power options needed to succeed in a multitude of scenarios.  Western Grater’s fleet of air compressors, coupled with customizable drilling capabilities, increases our operational capacity and streamlines project execution.

Western Grater utilizes various types of grout mixers and pumps, including: DSI MP 2000 mixer-pumps, which are colloidal mixing units combined with Moyno progressive cavity pumps; and, Obermann VS-63-20 F/G mixer-pumps, which are digitally controlled high pressure mixer-pumps for technically critical applications.   Our pumps are suitable for a multitude of grout and concrete mixes, and we have the tooling required for accurate placement of those mixes in unfavorable conditions.
