Farmer Construction contracted Western Grater to install a soldier pile & anchor tendon shotcrete shoring system as well as drilling & blasting rock in close proximity to heritage buildings to allow for construction of the Sovereign Building, located in a heavily urbanized area of downtown Victoria, BC.

Western Grater was responsible for both shoring and blasting, which involved mitigating logistical conflicts, cutting costs and streamlining project execution.  Our versatible fleet of drills, capable of drilling for both blasting and anchoring, provided great value to this project.  Construction of the Sovereign Building was completed in late 2013.
